Using traditional craft techniques, the objects are carefully cleaned, flaws are repaired or re-carved, and then skilfully adjusted to the old surface. The object keeps its original character in this way.
The materials used are the same as those traditionally used in frame production: Wood, chalk, animal glues, red chalk and, of course, the best gold and silver leaf.
